Cooperation with Swedish composer Rolf Martinsson
Cooperation with Swedish composer Rolf Martinsson during the "birth" of Double Bass Concerto No. 1 and during the CD-recording with Oslo Philharmonic and Chief Conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste. This cooperation has also led to the solo bass piece "Bassic Instinct".
Cooperation with Swedish composer Fredrik Högberg
Cooperation with Swedish composer Fredrik Högberg resulting in the concerto "Hitting the First Bass" which also will be recorded for CD in Oct 2011 together with Tromsø Chamber Orchestra, lead by Kolbjørn Holthe. This cooperation also resulted in a solo piece called "First Bass First".
International Bassist Convention
Styffe performs regularly at international bass Conventions, both in the US (International Society of Bassists) and Euoropean versions of the same in for example Paris, Berlin, Wroclaw, Odense and Brno.
